After a long crowdfunding campaign, participation in the conference of the European Marine Science Educators Association on São Miguel Island and a quick visit to Terceira Island, I am visiting my family in Canada and taking a break for a short while.
When I return to Portugal, I will begin the work to put the book into final draft for publication. We obtained sufficient funds for the needed design, editing and translation work for the publication, but we will still need further funds to print copies to give to all the schools and libraries on each of the islands.
